Our Father in Heaven, by the power and authority of the  Melchezidech priesthood which we hold, we hold this day in our arms to give him a name and a blessing. The name which will be Lennon Jay McIntyre. At this time Lennon we wish to give you a blessing which comes from faith from those that love you most and a blessing from your Father in Heaven.  We bless you that you will continue to be such a joy and light in the lives of your family. With your friends and acquaintances. We bless you with health , growth that you’ll grow to be a boy and a young man and a worthy priesthood holder. We bless you with the power to have faith, to seek faith in the Lord, and come to your Father in Heaven in prayer often. You’ll be guided by the spirit and you’ll have the strength to overcome temptation. Lennon we bless you with love. That you will be able to act as an instrument in the Lords hands to treat others with the love that your Father in Heaven has for each one of his children. We bless you with the power to make correct choices to make good and strong friendships that you can be a beacon of truth and light to others and lead by example and lead by faith. We bless you that you’ll prepare to serve an honorable full time mission. That you will experience the joys and satisfaction of proclaiming this gospel. As you do that you will feel the love from our father in Heaven. I bless you with the goal and the ability to reach that goal. To dedicate… when it comes time to take a righteous spouse as well to be sealed for Time and All Eternity, and that the blessings of the temple will bless your life, bless your posterity to be guided back to your Father in Heaven. We bless you with a sure knowledge that your parents love you, and you have loving siblings, grandparents, and extended family that share this testimony of the Gospel, and that they can be sources of advice and council. Lennon, these things we bless you with at this time, also that the blessings your Father in Heaven has in store for you through out your life that they may come about you as well. We do this in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Halloween fun!

This year we had a lot of chances to dress up so we did it hard! haha. First came Bostons class party. It has been so neat to volunteer in his T-k class. Boston has this way about him where sometimes even when he is having the best time he will have a super straight face. There was a part where they are all dancing and singing and Boston was totally dancing but never steered from that serious face! Which is so wierd cause Boss is a super funny guy who loves a good joke! Here are some of my fave pics from the class party.

Cute class mates

Boston started off wanting to be a green ninjago. I wanted to save money so i was going to borrow a blue ninja costume from a friend but Boss insisted it be green. We were home free when a friend loaned us this green skeleton costume and Boston decided he was a dead green Zombie ninja.  Most of Bosties costumes have ended up being hybrids haha.

 Story got to dress up in her homemade  mermaid costume for ballet. Here she is with all of her class and below is her teacher miss Cheylene. 

 Story absolutley loved this class at tricks and her costume looked so stinkin cute with ballet slippers!

We then threw this super fun party with my friend Ashley Tanner. We had pumkin painting and spider web walking, a costume parade and even a gross touching stuff game at the end that was a huge hit!

 reused this flower from last years midevil princess costume, which actually came from the top of a nothing bundt cake!

What a gorgeous gal. SHe got to wear makeup and stick on stick on earings! Mommy love loves doing makeup with Story even though she is gorgeous without it!

 Jason Lennon and i were from Duck Dynasty. Jay is phil, I am kay (theres a pillow in my apron haha)( and Lennon is a duck! In camo i might add!

 I love me some squirrel brains and a pioneer man! Pretty cute duck too!

Oh and there was a chili tasting contest, here is ashley handing out the samples, one hot momma!

the yucki touchy (sorry no good name for this) game was seriously the best part! totally gross and awsome, we used jello wrapped in saranawrap covered in vaseline for a heart, that was my favorite one! We trick or treated with the corbridges, oschners and thompsons in their neighborhood complete with a dj, haunted house and all it was a blast! Top that 2014, i dare you!

Lennons baby blessing

Lennon just turned 17 weeks (four months) and we were able to go to AZ for thanksgiving and do his baby blessing. It was so fun to sit with all my siblings at church, minus my brother bret who i miss to death. Most of us have kids so they were all coloring together. I loved how we all helped eachother keep our kids entertained. snacks from aunt lyndzee, a toy from me. It was just so fun to be a large family unit like that. It was also just so amazing to have jason go up in my home ward with Dustin, Brock Taylor and my Dad to bless Lennon. We waited four months so that we could have family there and it really did make it that much cooler. I am so greatful for Little Lennon in our lives. He is the easiest happiest baby. He started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks and wakes up with a huge smile on his face all the time! He is so easy going. I can put him down any where and he just hangs out. He loves his siblings so much. I think he is a bit more comfortable with Boston because he doesn't have to worry about being accidently smooshed like he does with Story. Boston, more than any one in our family, can make Lennon laugh out loud. He always wants to see what he is up to. Story loves lennon so much, and reminds me a lot of myself in that its almost too hard for her to contain. I mean i have learned to bite my lip while i squeeze his cute chunky legs as to not squeeze too hard, but story lets it all out and sometimes gets a little crazy!
   It was pretty cool hearing my dad bear his testimony at the blessing. He spoke of when he took the missionary discussions. How the missionaries painted a picture of what life could be like if he joined the church and how the day of Lennon's blessing with almost all of our family there was one of those days.

 Although the bow tie and hat make me melt, i think its lennon that makes these pics!

Lennon 11 weeks

Lennon is 11 weeks now! He has definatly filled out and although he is not a chunker, i think he is the burliest of all my babies. I has recently figured out how to kick and make sound on his play mat and he is super smiley right after eating. He is always spitting out the binky to smile. This kid is so awake during the day but i don't even mind because he is such a champ when it comes to sleeping at night. It shocks me everynight when he goes to sleep at 9 and wakes up at 5:30. I could probably go to sleep early but ill sleep when i'm dead right?
       We are working hard on his room and have it just about complete. I mean if complete means i will always find another project and i am done for the week then yes complete. Here is Lennon at 11 weeks and some of him playing in his cute room.

 I never can edit his photos in b and w because he has the prettiest blue eyes!

 Got this fabric to make a valance for his room so yeah i am never really done.

He loves tummy time and does it pretty well i might add.

 When he tilts his head its like he is looking into my soul.

 So i bought this chalkboard decal on Jane.com. It already had the arrows cut out. I wanted to reuse it so i put it on some MDF that i painted white and then jay built me a frame that i also painted white. I saw this phrase on pinterest and thought it was perfect for our little Lennon's room seeing as how he is sort of named after a beetle. ( used a chalk marker to do the sign)

 Jason found a website that will turn any photo into an Andy Warhol, and he already had this beautiful barnwood frame made. All the bedding and changing table material was found on Spoonflower.com and is by the artist Hollie Zollinger. I am obsessed with her stuff. 

 Here I took a frame Jason had made and painted an orange plus to match the material (jason's idea that little smarty pants). I also couldn't help but frame another headphone pic of Lennon. I love how different and graphic it is.

 We got this changing table from DI for 50 bones when story was little and had already painted it grey with annie sloan chalk paint and pit a dark wax finish on it. We switched out story's colorful knobs for these white ones (still need 3 more). we also added the ikea spice racks as book shelves. All the bedding and changing cover were made by a lady in my ward who is ridiculously cheap and amazing. i think she did it in 5 days.

 Jason built this plumbing pipe shelf inspired by one he found on restoration hardware. It was so easy and seriously took him like 2.5 hours. way to go babe! You got serious skills.

 I also upcycled these anthropologie flash cards my mom had given to me years ago and made some art by attaching them to some MDF that i painted grey

 I painted this picture frame from homegoods and turned it into a blanket hanger, and last but not least the amazing wall. It was actually easy because we just placed the tape haphazardly to mimick a popular material we liked. 

We did it for our little bundle but also for us. There is just something about design, when it makes sense  how it calms you. I love to go in there and rock my buddy when the other crazy littles are well...being crazy. I also think all these projects have kept me sane amidst all the changes in our lives lately.
